National Lodging & Leisure (NLL) has announced plans to develop a new 114-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Grand Junction, Colorado. One of the fastest growing metro areas in the United States, Grand Junction is the regional business center for western Colorado and eastern Utah – areas that have robust economies driven by the booming energy production now underway on the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Boasting the highest hotel occupancy rates in the State of Colorado, in addition to its strong economy, Grand Junction has a robust year-round tourism industry encompassing a wide variety of tourist destinations and events.

National Lodging Opens New Hampton Inn

Indianapolis-based National Lodging & Leisure has announced the opening of a new 113-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Greensburg, Indiana. Completed in less than 11 months, possibly a new Hilton Hotel Corp. record, the $10 million Greensburg Hampton features the latest Hampton brand enhancements including the new “Perfect Mix” lobby and dining area and expanded fitness center. Another very unique feature of the hotel is 2,500 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet space – the largest meeting center in southeastern Indiana. In addition, the hotel has a dedicated parking area for buses and motor homes which include hook-ups.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with our new facility, and we’re proud to open one of the most modern lodging facilities the State of Indiana” stated Jack Moran, President of National Lodging. “Not only did we complete this project in record time, but we also brought it in substantially under budget – not an easy thing to do these days” added Moran.

Street Corner opens new door
Retail center builder now betting its success on extended-stay hotels

The Street Corner Group was founded in 2001 as a developer of neighborhood retail complexes on street corners across Central Indiana.
Now the Far-Northside developer is chasing new challenges as it morphs into a national lodging and leisure firm with the aim of doubling its business portfolio over the next five years.
Since 2001, Street Corner has developed 16 retail and highway service projects across Central Indiana with an estimated value of more than $100 million.
