The senior management team of NLL has over 100 years of collective experience in commercial development, construction and hotel management.

Jack Moran
President & Chief Executive Officer, National Lodging & Leisure

A seasoned development and construction professional, Jack Moran brings over 30 years of commercial real estate development experience to National Lodging & Leisure. Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for the development of real estate projects totaling over 5.5 million sq. ft. valued in excess of $975 million. Mr. Moran represents the third generation of his family involved in the real estate and construction business. Most recently, Mr. Moran spearheaded the development of Greensburg Station, an $18 million highway service development that includes a 114-room Hampton Inn & Suites hotel.

In addition to founding NLL, Jack is president of Street Corner Group, LLC a company that specializes in the development of commercial mixed-use projects and neighborhood retail centers. Under Jack’s leadership Street Corner Group has experience rapid growth and is on a track to developing over $100 million in new investment properties. Prior to forming NLL and Street Corner, Jack was president of Golf Sport, Inc., a national developer of golf practice centers, and held senior management positions with Vantage Companies and Duke Realty Corporation.

Mr. Moran received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and is a licensed general contractor and real estate broker. An approved franchisee of Hilton Corporation, Jack is involved with a variety of civic and industry associations including Eiteljorg Museum, Indiana University Kelley School of Business Alumni Association, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

George N. Pappas, CHA
Executive Vice President, National Lodging & Leisure
President, NLL Management

Responsible for hotel operations including pre-opening, training and supervision of all on-site management personnel, George brings over 30 years of hands-on hospitality experience to the company. During his career, George has opened, repositioned and managed over 15 hotels ranging in size from 130 to 350 rooms and many times has managed multiple locations simultaneously. He has experience and relationships with almost all the leading hotel chains in the country, including: InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton, Wyndham, Starwood and Marriott.

Having served as general manager for two hotel/waterpark resorts, George has opened and managed a variety of lodging facilities across the country, and provides the company with a wealth of experience in development and operations of these new hospitality properties. Hotels under his management have consistently achieved exceptionally high customer satisfaction ratings and numerous awards for excellence.

One of the most experienced hotel managers in the Country, George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Massachusetts, has received the CHA designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, and hold certificates in hotel management and food and beverage service from Holiday Inn University.

William Raguse
Vice President, Construction & Development Services, National Lodging & Leisure

Bill Raguse brings over 30 years of experience in commercial development and construction management and is responsible for directing pre-development and construction activities of the company. Prior to NLL, Bill was responsible for the construction of over 40 retail stores projects for one of the country's largest department store chains, and has supervised renovation and new construction of numerous retail and office building projects throughout the country. Currently Bill and his staff are overseeing the construction of a $10 million, 114-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Greensburg, Indiana.
 
His formal training and education includes a major in business from the University of Wisconsin, marketing and sales training in design/build, pre-engineered and general construction services, Indiana and Wisconsin Real Estate sales training and a master electrical contracting license.

James W. Colver
Controller, National Lodging & Leisure
As assistant controller, James Colver is responsible for the operations within the company’s accounting department which includes overseeing the financial reporting for over twenty separate investment entities and two operating companies. Jim brings to NLL twenty-five years of accounting experience including over seven years of experience in real estate development and construction accounting.


A graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a degree in accounting, Jim is currently completing the requirements for his CPA designation.
